Biography

Alfonso Garcia Chan is a trial lawyer, experienced in litigating and licensing complex intellectual property cases on behalf of IP owners as well as accused infringers. Alfonso focuses primarily on semiconductor and electronic technology-intensive matters. Alfonso maintains a very active international practice, which extends beyond the United States and encompasses Taiwan, China, Japan, Korea and Europe. Alfonso also serves an adjunct professor of law at Southern Methodist University, Dedman School of Law. Prior to practicing law, Alfonso was an officer in the United States Navy and nuclear propulsion engineer at Naval Reactors Headquarters.
