Biography

Michael W. Shore practices in the areas of intellectual property commercialization, business litigation, and other select litigation matters involving catastrophic personal injury. His intellectual property practice focuses on representing non-profit research institutions and includes universities and both governmental and private research institutes.

Michael's practice is multifaceted, aiding clients in commercializing their patent portfolios through strategic development, licensing and litigation. Mr. Shore is undefeated in jury trials over his 32 year career, and in the last 2 years has successfully tried cases in both Texas and Delaware federal district courts. He works closely with client counsel on trial strategy, and seeks their input continuously through the process.

Michael is a 7th generation Texan, and married to his wife of 31 years, Judy Shore. Judy motivated him to study harder in law school in an attempt to overtake her in class rank. He came up short, but Judy did manage to get Michael into the Order of the Coif. Mr. Shore has two children of which he is overly proud: Gatlin Shore who teaches high school in Dallas and Emma Rose who is planning to attend law school in the Fall.
